For optimal performance, it is recommended to change the filter every three months. However, the effectiveness and life of the filter can vary and depend on the individual conditions in your home.

It is recommended to change your home air filter at least every 90 days for 1-inch filters, and at least every 12 months for 4-inch and 5-inch filters, in order to maintain optimal performance of your heating and cooling system or HVAC system.
