As air flows through the Nordic Pure Pleated furnace filter, it removes contaminants from the air. The heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame, along with a metal mesh support grid, are used to manufacture all Nordic Pure Pleated air filters to ensure durability.

It is important to note that MERV 14 furnace air conditioner filters are similar to HVAC filters with a rating of MPR 2800. However, due to the high filtration and air flow restriction, HVAC systems should be capable of handling filters of MERV 14 and above. Nordic Pure MERV 14 air filters are ideal for use in newer, high-efficiency systems that utilize HEPA filters. The efficiency and longevity of your AC air filter depend on both the indoor and outdoor conditions where you reside. For optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness, it is recommended to change your air filter every 30-90 days.

For example, the Nominal Size of our filter is 14 x 20 x 1, while the Actual Size is 13 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 3/4 (13.5 x 19.5 x 0.75).
