When air passes through a Nordic Pure Pleated furnace filter, it removes contaminants from the air. The heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with a metal mesh support grid ensures durability for all Nordic Pure Pleated air filters.

These MERV 14 furnace air conditioner filters are comparable to HVAC filters with a MPR 2800 rating. It's important to note that HVAC systems should be able to handle filters of MERV 14 and above due to the high filtration and air flow restriction. Nordic Pure MERV 14 air filters are suitable for use in newer, high-efficiency systems that utilize HEPA filters. The effective lifespan of your AC air filter depends on the conditions both inside and outside of your home, and we recommend changing your air filter every 30-90 days for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Please note that almost all furnace filters have a different "actual size" than the nominal size printed on the air conditioner filter. It is recommended to measure your air filter for the exact size and compare it to our "Actual Size" to ensure a proper fit. The nominal size of the filter is 16 x 25 x 1, while the actual size is 15 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 3/4 (15.5 x 24.5 x 0.75).
