The Aerostar 20x30x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filters are sold in a pack of four. They are designed for superior filtration efficiency, with a nominal size of 20x30x1 and an actual size of 19 3/4"x29 3/4"x3/4". These filters are comparable to MPR 600 and FPR 5, and are made with electrostatically charged synthetic material that effectively captures allergens between 0.3 - 1.0 microns. This includes lint, dust mites, spores, and pollen, making them an effective solution for creating a healthier home environment that is free of airborne allergens and particles that can trigger allergy and asthma symptoms.

In addition to improving indoor air quality, the Aerostar filters also improve the efficiency of HVAC units, reducing maintenance and utility costs by removing dirt and reducing strain on the motor. For optimal results, it is recommended to change the filter every 60 to 90 days. During peak summer and winter months when the unit is working the hardest, it is advisable to increase the frequency to every 30 days.
